There is a new feature when working in the Merge to HDR Pro feature in Photoshop. If you set the Mode to 32 bit, under the histogram is an option to “Complete Toning in Adobe Camera Raw”.
Enabling this option, changes the “OK” button to “Tone in ACR”. Clicking “Tone in ACR” tells Photoshop to convert the 32 bit HDR layer into a Smart Object and automatically apply Camera Raw as a Smart Filter.
Then, simply apply your desired settings in the Camera Raw Filter and click OK. Because you are working with a smart object, not only can you double click the layer thumbnail to re-edit the Camera Raw options, but you can also use the Smart Filter mask to selectively show and hide the effect AND change the Blend Mode and Opacity of the filter!
Note: only the following Blend Modes are available when using Camera Raw as a Smart Filter: Normal, Dissolve, Darken, Multiply, Darker Color, Lighten, Linear Dodge (add), Lighter Color, Difference, Subtract, Divide, Hue, Saturation Color and Luminosity.

I have tried many ways to change this 32 bit ProPhoto Source Space layer to be a 16bit layer with a ProPhoto as Source Space. Each method that I try to change the Mode to 16 bit changes the Color Space to sRGB.
How can I work on it in 16 bit and retain ProPhoto as the Color Space?
When you convert from 32 bit to 16 bit, Photoshop will convert the image into your working space (found under the Color Settings). So if your working space for RGB is sRGB, that’s what the file will be converted to.
If I want to adjust the HDR merged image in Lightroom, so should I not complete toning in Adobe Camera Raw? I want to adjust the image in Lightroom, unless a better workflow would be adjusting it in Photoshop. I am a novice to HDR and I used to be able to adjust the images in Lightroom and see the exterior scenery inside a room, but now it isn’t working in Lightroom with the toning selected.
