I’ve always wanted to explore the surreal landscapes of Australia so when Darran Leal of World Photo Adventures asked me to join their photographic tour to the Kimberly region and Lake Eyre in May 2023, it was an offer I couldn’t possibly refuse!
During this workshop we’ll be visiting stunning locations in Purnululu National Park (such as Cathedral Cave, Piccininni Gorge, Echidna Chasm), Parry Lagoons Nature Reserve, Lake Argyle, El Questro Station, and other points of interest which all add up to new angles and opportunities to make unique and stunning images.
We will have the opportunity to photograph the flora and fauna of the region including spectacular birds, frogs, forest scenes, grand landscapes, boab trees, billabongs, take astro photos and capture unique creative patterns and shapes. And options are also available for helicopter flights!
If aerial shots and the iconic landscapes is more to your liking, then join us for our linked workshop at Lake Eyre – Kati Thanda. This unique region is known for amazing diversity of colors, patterns and landscapes. We’ll photograph with the doors off the plane so you’ll have uninterrupted views (but of course we’ll be belted up for safety). World Photo Adventures includes only two photographers per plane, thus maximizing your photo opportunities.
Or, why not join us for both adventures! : )
World Photo Adventures is a family business that is dedicated to helping photographers improve their technical and creative skills while making photographs in unique locations – and I can’t wait to be a part of it.
