Master the features for editing, adjusting, rendering, and sharing video clips in Lightroom.
Here are some of my favorite shortcuts and tips for editing video in Lightroom Classic:
• Shift + I sets the in-point of a clip.
• Shift + O sets the out-point of a clip.
• Video clips can be added to the Slideshow module (including control over audio levels for clips vs. music overlays).
• The following develop settings can be applied to video clips:
Color/Black & White Treatment
White Balance
Basic Tone – Exposure, Contrast, Whites, Blacks, Saturation and Vibrance
Tone Curve
Color Treatment (HSL and B&W)
Color Toning
Process Version and Calibration
• View > View Options > Loupe view has an option to Play HD video at draft quality
• To “cut out” a portion of a video, create Virtual Copies and set new In and Out points as needed to edit the video.
• To view a video in QuickTime on Mac, double click the Video in Grid view.
