Admittedly, the first few lessons are basic – after all, it is a basic course but the quality is fantastic. In particular, it is up to date using an (almost) current version of Photoshop. Experienced users of Photoshop will tell you that the principles are essentially the same going way back over many years and versions of Photoshop. That may be so if you’re experienced; but, there is nothing worse for a beginner than trying to learn a complex program like Photoshop and finding that it does not work like the book ‘says’, or the Youtube video using version CS5/CS6.
