Camera Raw Filter

In the video below, I demonstrate how I use the Object Selection tool, Generative Fill, and Camera Raw as a smart filter to remove distracting areas in the background in order to place more emphasis on the subject.

Adobe Camera Raw (v15.4) includes several updates and enhancements to masking and editing including: adding Grain, Tone Curve, Refine Saturation, Process Version, Color Mixer, Canvas Padding, and Camera Raw as a Filter in Photoshop.
