When most people think of the History panel in Photoshop, they think of multiple undo. The History panel, however, in conjunction with the History Brush, Art History Brush, Snapshots, Eraser, and Fill Command is far more powerful then simply traveling back through time in your document. While I expect that many of you already know the shortcuts to fill with the Foreground and background colors, did you also know that your can fill with History, fill non-transparent areas, and a combination of both?

In order to create a seamless pattern in Photoshop open the desired image and choose Filter > Other > Offset.
